Today Intel’s CPU, formally known as Nehalem arrives and it comes with a new architecture along with a new bus. Intel’s latest addition to the Core architecture is the Core i7 series, which is based on the same architecture that made the Core 2 series so popular, but with a few major changes to the design.The 45nm Core i7 die size is 263 mm2 and transistor count is 731 million.
In short this new Intel Core i7 (Bloomfield) processors debut with the following features:
* Four processing cores
* Support for SMT (simultaneous multi-threading), allowing up to 8 threads to be processed simultaneously
* 32 KB instruction + 32 KB data L1 cache per core
* 256 KB L2 cache per core
* Large 8 MB L3 cache shared by all 4 cores
* An integrated memory controller (IMC) supporting three channels of DDR3 memory
- Memory clock speeds of up to 1333 MHz
- Memory bandwidth of up to 32 GB/s
- Up to 6 memory sockets

* The new Intel QuickPath Interconnect (QPI) replaces the front side bus (FSB)
* Addition of 7 new SSE4 instructions
* Monolithic processor design (all four cores on a single die)
* Fabricated using Intel’s 45 nm high-k process technology

This Core i7 also provides a Turbo Mode which will allow the individual cores to clock higher, while disabling the unused cores, should the system notice that CPU usage is low. For example, if only two cores are active, the platform can increase the multiplier on those two cores, leading to higher application performance while maintaining power and TDP ratings. The Turbo Mode will be most useful with games, especially as the single core setting will provide the highest potential overclock, up to a multiplier increase of 2.
Intel has turned Hyper-Threading loose on something far more powerful which allows the four cores of the Core i7 to emulate eight. Intel believes that only a robust architecture like the Core i7 can fully maximize the resource sharing and multi-threaded performance offered by Hyper-Threading.

In IE 8, if you accidently close a browser window, you can opt to restore it when you reopen the Internet Explorer 8 browser again. This feature is as same as firefox.
It use color coding in group related tabs together, for example if you open a link of prothom-alo.com in a new tab , it will open adjacent to the original tab and both of the tabs themselves will have a matching color. Also you can move one tabs from one group to another but you can’t do this if you have three unrelated pages open and you can’t create a group out of them.
Accelerators:
It is one of the cool features that IE 8 provides to its users, accelerators let the users use map directions, translate words, email to friends only just a few mouse click. It is an add-ons which make it possible to use other web services without leaving the site, for example, looking up an address on Google Maps.
Firefox 3 has an extension “Ubiquity” which uses a different method of making other web services accessible on the current website and provide the same functionality which IE 8 provides.

InPrivate Browsing:
This functionality helps the users to browse the web without saving the history, temporary files and cookies on user’s computer.
In Firefox there is an add-ons called “Stealther” which helps the user to provide the same functionality and it disable the following activities –Browsing History(also in address bar), cookies, Downloaded files history, disk cache , saved form information, sending referrerHeader, Recently Closed Tabs list.

In Firefox there is an add-ons called Webchunks which completely replicates the IE feature.

For Firefox, it use Google Suggest to provide search suggestions in the search box and there is not any option to combine text and image result.
